This service was ideated by Tarek Baig and Philip Costello in the summer of 2025 after years of frustrating conversations about the lack of historical accuracy in creative works.
We wanted to make it easier for filmmakers, screenwriters, and authors to be connected to experts who specialize in the historical periods and areas their stories are based in. After lots of coding and development, that tool is now here!
But most importantly, all reviews are made through our unique rubrics. These are meant to maintain consistency in grading as well as maximize constructive criticism and/or praise for Historical Fiction Plots and Historical Nonfiction Plots, respectively.
